Optical Transmitter 1310nm: LB1310TC SERIES

Lindsay Broadband LB1310TC series of rack mount optical transmitters are high linearity, low noise 1310nm High performance DFB direct modulated lasers with single Optical output powers from 4mw to 20mw, in 2mw steps. AGC/MGC switch adjusts for variations in RF input levels along with Optical Modulation Index (OMI) adjustment. Auto output laser power stability control (APC) and auto laser temperature control (ATC) are standard features. The LED front panel display is used to monitor all functional transmitter parameters; output laser power, laser bias current, cooling current, temperature, MGC/AGC state and OMI value. The LB1310TC is equipped with RS-232, RJ45 communication interfaces for system network management. Optional hot swappable dual switch mode power supplies.

Lindsay Broadband LB1550TC series of 1RU rack mount optical transmitters are high linearity, low noise,1550nm optical transmitters, used to deliver analogue and digital TV signals, voice and data over long distance fiber cable networks. The LB1550TC use high performance DFB direct modulation lasers, with single optical output powers from 2mw to 10mw, in 2mw steps. The LED front panel display is used to monitor all functional transmitter parameters; output laser power, laser bias current, cooling current, temperature, and MGC/AGC state. The LBI1550TC is equipped with RS-232, RJ45 communication interfaces for system network management. Optical hot swappable dual switch mode power supplies.

Lindsay Broadband LB5155D series of rack mount Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifiers (EDFA) are low noise, high performance Optical Amplifiers with single Optical output powers from 14dBm to 23dBm, in 1dBm steps.

The LB5155D series provide optical isolation on the input and output for stable, low noise operation. Auto output power stability control (APC) and auto temperature control (ATC) are standard features. The LED front panel display

is used to provide monitoring and associated alarms for all vital parameters. The LB5155D is equipped with RS-232, RJ45 communication interfaces for system network management. Powering is 110V – 240VAC or 40 – 72VDC. Optional hot swappable dual switch mode power supplies.

LBAP-2000H HIGH POWER EDFA/PON COMBINER

Lindsay Broadband LBAP-2000H is our new generation 1550 CATV EDFA and

PON Combiner using an EDFA/EYDFA

co-doped Fiber Amplifier.  Each output port of the optical amplifier has a built-in

WDM filter allowing for convenient pairing with each OLT port. The CATV 1550nm wavelength is multiplexed with the PON 1310/1490nm wavelengths within the same chassis allowing for reduced cabling and rack space while at the same time improving system reliability.  Available in a variety of output powers and multiple outputs. Powered by Dual Switching Power Supplies for Redundancy. Multifunction Touch Screen display monitors parameters, Trouble Alarms and has set-up menu’s. Return Path 4 Port Optical Receiver: LB100Rx Series

Lindsay Broadband LB100Rx series of optical return path receivers are 19” 1RU rack mount receivers with (4)

four independent return path optical receivers. Each individual return receiver have high performance photodiodes and hybrid amplification sections with individual controlled attenuation adjustments. The LED front panel display is used to monitor all functional parameters; input optical power of each

receiver, and attenuator adjustment of each receiver. There are two optical input power range models of receivers, the LB100RA model is -27dbm to -13dbm, and the LB100RB model is -21 to -3dbm.

The LB100Rx is equipped with a RS-232 interface for system network management.

OPTICAL SWITCH LBSW SERIES

Lindsay Broadband LBSW series of optical switch are conveniently built in

a 19” 1RU rack mount chassis, powered by either one switch mode power supply or an optional dual (redundant) power supply. Three models of optical switches are available; LBSW-1X2, 2x1 and 2x2.

The single mode optical switch has extremely low insertion loss, and fast switch time. The LBSW switch utilizes MCU (Microcontroller Unit module) intelligent control technology and SNMP network management technology to enhance performance. The switch can be set automatically, manually or by network management. Optical power and the chosen state are displayed on the front panel LCD. Switch mode power supplies are hot swappable Optional 48VDC power supply modules.
